We are so excited to welcome you to Why Not?!, a podcast where we take your favorite series seriously. Our first season we will be looking at Alpha Flight and finding all there is to love in this under-appreciated part of the Marvel Comics Universe. Once we’ve tackled this large-ish but surmountable realm we will move on to another in Season 2.

Meet your hosts, Tom Flynn and Chris Baker, best friends who have been talking comics for more than 20 years (have you seen the meme about the sound of Ted Cruz pushing flaccid penii out of his hands instead of claws? That’s us.). Tom is an all around gadfly in the Chicago publisher/bookseller world. Chris is an embroiderer who will claim to have read more comic books than anyone you know. There’s more to us than that but this is the most fun way to introduce ourselves and leave some mystery to be uncovered.
